The Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) aims to develop morally straight, disciplined, and self-reliant citizens, with a mission to instill love for God, country, and fellowmen, prepare youth for leadership guided by the scout oath and law. The name Silaw Media Guild reflects the club’s mission to illuminate the truth, amplify student voices, and shine a light on the stories that matter within the
school community. Just as light reveals what is hidden, the Media Guild aims to uncover and share meaningful narratives—whether through a photograph, a video, or a written article. In a time when media plays a crucial role in shaping perspectives, the club will guide students to use their skills ethically and creatively. Furthermore, the guild structure emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and shared purpose. Members will not only learn technical skills but also develop leadership, teamwork, and a strong sense of responsibility—embodying the school’s values and the Ilocano spirit of “Bangui NHS: Mangraniag ken mangmuli iti masakbayan”.
