Christmas starts as early as September, and it's a season of joy, music, and faith. While experiencing these, here are some beloved Filipino Christmas traditions we all know and love:
๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐ โ A series of nine dawn masses held before Christmas, where Filipinos wake up early to attend church. After the mass, people often enjoy p**o bumbong, bibingka, and a warm cup of tsokolate sold outside the church. โ

๐ต๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ โ A special Christmas Eve dinner shared with family, featuring a feast of dishes like lechon, pancit, spaghetti, lumpia shanghai, and other well-loved delicacies. ๐ฝ๏ธ
๐ท๐๐๐๐ โ A festive Christmas lantern, usually made of bamboo sticks and colorful plastic, symbolizing hope and light in every Filipino home. ๐
A Filipino Christmas is truly one of a kind. These traditions are not only preserved through time but also serve as reminders of our culture and the love that fills the season celebrating the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
So bundle up, embrace the joy, and spend Christmas the Filipino way! ๐ต๐ญ๐โจ
