𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗪𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗟𝗜𝗤𝗨𝗢𝗥 𝗕𝗔𝗡
Pursuant to Resolution No. 11057 (Promulgated on 13 September 2024), the 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗡 𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 (𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖) has imposed a nationwide liquor ban for the May 12, 2025, National and Local Elections. This ban will be in effect from 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟭 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 (𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆).
🚫 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
During this period, it is unlawful to:
• Sell, offer, or buy alcoholic beverages
• Serve or consume alcohol in public or commercial establishments
⚖️ 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
Violators of the liquor ban may face:
• Imprisonment ranging from one (1) to six (6) years without probation
• Disqualification from holding public office
