3 When Judas, who had betrayed him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders. 4 “I have sinned,” he said, “for I have betrayed innocent blood.” “What is that to us?” they replied. “That's your responsibility.”

What does the Bible say about betrayal?
One day Jesus taught his disciples: “Betrayals are inevitable, but great devastation will come to the one guilty of betraying others. It would be better for him to have a heavy boulder tied around his neck and be hurled into the deepest sea than to face the punishment of betraying one of my dear ones!

Father God,

Your Son came to teach us about You and Your Ways. I know that I’m always blessed when I receive those lessons. So, please help me remain humble enough to learn from Jesus how to grow more in righteousness each day.
