Recognizing Our Volleyball Player of the Games

Even though DPCBUMES athletes in volleyball elementary boys representing Basay District I journey in the preliminaries ended short of the semi-finals, we take pride in celebrating the two outstanding performances of our very own player of the game Aron Josh Quitara against district 10 and Viorn Vargas versus district 8.

Across four thrilling matches, these athletes displayed not only skill but also resilience and leadership on the court. From powerful serves to crucial digs, their determination inspired teammates and energized the crowd. While the scoreboard didn’t secure them a spot in the next round after failing to the 3-time defending champion district 1 and against district 7, their effort reminded us that true victory lies in heart, discipline, and sportsmanship. The team ended their elimination round journey with 2-2 standing.

They may not have advanced to the semi-finals, but recognizing this achievement is important. Their performance proves that excellence isn’t only measured by championships—it’s also about character, perseverance, and the ability to inspire others.

As we close this chapter of the season, we celebrate our player of the games for embodying the values of our school and for reminding us that every match is an opportunity to shine.

Congratulations to both and on your team for fighting until the end. 🎉

School Athletes Bag Bronze in Lawn Tennis at Bayawan City Division Sports Meet 2025

Our school proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of our lawn tennis athletes representing Basay District I in the ongoing Division Sports Meet 2025. Competing against some of the best players in the division, our representatives showcased skill, perseverance, and true sportsmanship.

In the Single A Category, Francis Carlisle Tronco delivered an impressive performance, earning the Bronze Medal after a series of challenging matches. Meanwhile, in the Doubles Category, the dynamic pair of Denriel Jay Mosqueda and Rayven Silvallana fought valiantly on the court, securing another Bronze Medal for our school.

These victories reflect the dedication and hard work of our athletes, guided by their coach ma'am Malyn Tronco, and the entire school for the support.

Congratulations to our lawn tennis team for bringing honor and pride to our school!
