The Second Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (Q2 NSED) was successfully conducted today, June 19, 2025, at Concepcion National High School. This activity was carried out as part of the schoolโ€™s ongoing commitment to promoting awareness and preparedness in the face of disasters, especially earthquakes.

The drill began with a brief orientation highlighting the importance of being alert and ready at all times. This was followed by the simultaneous ex*****on of the proper โ€œDuck, Cover, and Holdโ€ procedure by students, teachers, and school personnel. Afterward, an orderly evacuation was carried out toward the designated open area within the school grounds.

Under the leadership of the School DRRM Coordinator/ SSLG adviser ma'am Shie Magallanes, and the SSLG officers with the active participation of teachers and staff, the entire drill process was well-organized and smooth. The students also demonstrated discipline and readiness in responding to a simulated emergency situation.

Activities like this reinforce the schoolโ€™s mission to ensure the safety of everyone during unforeseen events. While we cannot predict when a disaster will strike, we can always be prepared to stay safe.

The successful implementation of the earthquake drill is a strong testament to the cooperation and unity of the entire Concepcion National High School community in building a safer and more resilient learning environment.
