MARCOLETA IS THE NEW BLUE RIBBON COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN

The Senate on Tuesday elects neophyte Senator Rodante Marcoleta as the chairperson of the Senate Committee on Accountability of Public Officers and Investigations, also known as the Blue Ribbon Committee.

The Senate panel is tasked to investigate alleged wrongdoings of the government, its officials, and its attached agencies, including government owned and controlled corporations, in aid of legislation.
