Expectation vs Reality sa pasabuy/online seller/Affiliate partnership
That’s how my korea-pinas Pasabuy started. And after going through all of it, I now have so much respect for anyone running a pasabuy business /Affiliate and online seller— especially those who started from scratch. 🫶
To be honest, ngsimula ako as a networking was really just a trial run — sinabay ko na rin habang my full time job ako nuon since 2012
Still, I gave it my best. I kept posting sa umpisa di madali parang wlang pumapansin ng posting mo wlang ng mamine at hindi ka sikat na online seller
I cried. I doubted myself.
I went live — walang nanood (shadowban)
Yung posts ko? Hindi nare-reach yung buyers.
Most of my audience? Korean pa 😭
I thought I had to sell right away. I thought, “Let’s go, benta agad!” BALIK puhunan agad. Pero kabaliktaran ilang beses nalugi sa traditional business ilang beses na scam ,nabaon sa utang.
But looking back, I realized — mali pala ‘yon.
I should’ve taken time to build my audience, set expectations, and create excitement first. Kasi kahit gaano kaganda ang items mo, if no one’s there to see them, it won’t matter.
It was tough and frustrating. But I didn’t quit. I kept showing up. I prayed. I stayed consistent and hopeful. And little by little, orders started coming in — through messages, one by one. 💌🙏🛒
Would I do it again? 100% yes.
Not because I made money, but because of the growth, the lessons, and the strength I now carry. This is just the beginning.
So please, next time you see someone doing pasabuy, don’t lowball. You’re not just paying for an item — you’re paying for the time, energy, init, puyat, pila, lakad, and all the behind-the-scenes effort just to deliver something special to your doorstep.
To everyone who supported — whether you ordered, shared, reacted, or simply sent words of encouragement — THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Your support means the world to small business owners like me. 🫶✨️🛒
See you again on the next korea-pinas Pasabuy.
