My VA Journey 💻✨
I started as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing company and worked there for more than 10 years. I enjoyed my work, but when new management came in, I began to lose confidence. I remember shaking in the bathroom, afraid to present in meetings. It was a difficult season that made me question my knowledge and worth.
During the 2020 lockdown, I was grateful to still receive my full salary, but I also became curious about online work. That’s when I discovered the world of Virtual Assistance. I taught myself through videos, articles, trainings, and VA communities.
I bought my cousin’s unused laptop on installments and worked with slow internet until I could afford fiber with my first stable-paying client. It wasn’t easy, I went through countless interviews, rewrote my resume multiple times, and even worked for low pay at first. But every setback fueled me to keep going.
Today, I’m working with the right clients and agencies who align with my values. Looking back, everything was worth it.
If you’re just starting, I don’t know what you’re going through right now, but let this be a reminder: don’t give up. Your growth and success are worth fighting for.
