If the Philippines really wants REAL change, here’s what we need to do:

1️⃣ Overhaul our politics.
Stop recycling the same names over and over. For the next election, let’s choose new leaders not the ones who’ve been in power for decades, especially those with corruption allegations. Real change can’t come from the same old hands. Start with the Barangays, people often overlook barangay officials, but they are the foundation of our government. If we elect honest and capable barangay leaders, it creates a domino effect—these good leaders won’t easily be poisoned by corrupt local officials, and in turn, we promote clean leadership at the city, provincial, and even national level.

2️⃣ Limit campaign spending.
Candidates shouldn’t be allowed to drown elections in money. Give everyone equal airtime on TV for national positions, allow posters only in designated areas, and ban donations from big business tycoons. Leaders must win on platforms not on money.

3️⃣ Pass an Anti-Political Dynasty Law.
Too much power concentrated in one family is dangerous. Dynasties have kept the same circles in control, killing opportunities for fresh leadership. Breaking that cycle opens the door for real change.

4️⃣ Shift to a Parliamentary Government.
In parliament, leaders can be removed quickly through a vote of no confidence if they lose public trust making it harder for corrupt officials to cling to power. Accountability becomes immediate, not just every 6 years.

5️⃣ Strengthen Progressive Taxation & Close Loopholes.
The rich and big corporations must pay their fair share. A fairer tax system means more funds for public services - education, healthcare, housing that directly benefit the poor and middle class.

6️⃣ Invest in Education & Job Creation.
Breaking inequality starts with equal access to quality education and decent jobs. Scholarships, skills training, and support for local industries will give Filipinos more opportunities at home, not just abroad.

7️⃣ Empower Local Manufacturing.
Let’s strengthen Philippine-made products whether in tech, agriculture, or consumer goods. By investing in local factories and industries, we create more jobs, reduce imports, and build a stronger economy from the ground up.

Until we demand these reforms, we’ll keep going in circles. Real change requires both political reform and economic reform a new system, new leaders, and new priorities that put Filipinos first.

The Middle Class: Paying the Most, Getting the Least.

The middle class carries the heaviest tax burden—paying the right amount through salary deductions while the rich reduce their tax obligations through loopholes, incentives, and tax planning strategies. Some even evade taxes entirely through illegal means. The poor contribute less due to exemptions. Despite this, when it comes to government programs and benefits, the middle class often gets the least support. Halos lahat sinusubo nlng sa mahihirap puro ayuda at pamimigay nlng.

Government programs are always focused on providing for the poor without truly teaching them how to earn their own money and become self-sufficient. Instead of endless handouts, there should be more programs that create real opportunities for people to improve their lives.

It’s time for a fairer system that values the hard work of the middle class.

Take a moment to reflect on yourself baka lahat ng sinasabi mo mas applicable sayo. Pag walang pakialam ang mga tao sayo 😅 wag ka ring makialam sa kanila. Hindi nila kailangan ng reaction mo. Hindi pwede na lahat kontrolado mo oh aayon sa mga hanash mo sa buhay. 😅

Before judging others, take a moment to reflect on yourself. Self-assessment is a powerful tool for growth. Let’s focus on our own choices and stop meddling in decisions that don’t concern us. Respect goes a long way.

When emotions run high, it’s easy to perceive factual statements as personal attacks. If someone struggles with self-doubt or insecurity, they might be more likely to feel gaslighted when faced with facts that challenge their feelings or beliefs.

Take a moment to reflect on what the other person is saying before responding emotionally.

Acknowledge your emotions but evaluate whether the statement was intended to invalidate or harm you.

Separate facts from feelings 😉😘

I’m proud to have shared something meaningful with my siblings, especially with our youngest sister. Whether it’s advice or best practices that helped shape my career, I’m grateful they listened and appreciated what I shared. It feels amazing to see them learn and grow from it. 🤎

The number of friends someone has often depends on personality, social skills, circumstances, and the type of relationships they prioritize, rather than a direct reflection of moral character.

I personally prefer to have fewer friends, but we shouldn’t assume that having many friends makes someone insincere or fake.

Stop being so judgemental. 🙂
