AN UPDATE FROM THE LOCAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE
---------------------------
Mayor John "Jack" T. Raymond Jr. has issued two Executive Orders as precautionary measures in response to the imminent threats of Tropical Cyclone “Verbena.”

1. Executive Order No. 2025-048 “Suspension and Cancellation of Classes at All Levels, and Implementation of the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) of Classes in Both Public and Private Schools in the City of Bayawan, Effective November 25, 2025.

All classes are suspended tomorrow, November 25 ONLY, to ensure the safety of students, teachers, and school personnel.

2. Executive Order No. 2025-048A “Mandating and Implementing Protocols for Pre-Emptive Evacuation in All Identified Critical Areas Within the City of Bayawan Classified as Very Highly Susceptible to Flooding and Landslides.”

Pre-emptive evacuation is now enforced in identified high-risk barangays due to expected heavy rains, flooding, and possible landslides.

The City Government urges all affected residents to comply with evacuation directives and remain alert to further advisories from the CDRRM.
