𝗦𝗗𝗢 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗩𝗶𝗥𝗔𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

The SDO Cebu Province Delegation, led by Schools Division Superintendent (SDS) Dr. Senen P. Paulin, arrived at Brgy. Kalumboyan, Bayawan City on Thursday, March 6, at 4:00 PM for Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association (CViRAA) 2025.

Upon their arrival, the delegation gathered at the Kalumboyan Gymnasium, their designated mess hall, for an orientation and meeting facilitated by Dr. Paulin.

Dr. Paulin led the opening prayer, asking for a “successful, peaceful, and remarkable participation in the CViRAA.”

He also expressed his gratitude to the host city, saying, “Allow me to thank the DepEd Bayawan City for helping us and for facilitating since we made our ocular inspection.”

Bayawan DepEd officials, Dr. Adonis S. Rivera and Dr. Emma H. Artes, were present to welcome the delegation.

This is the second meeting of the delegation but the first gathering where all athletes, coaches, chaperones, and members were present.

The delegation team comprises key personnel, including Athletic Manager Dr. Gerardo Mantos, Assistant Athletic Manager Mr. Mark Alquizola, and Training Director Mrs. Nenita Jaralve, who will lead the athletes training sessions from March 7–10.

Billeting Manager Mrs. Maria Elena Paras, EPS in SPED and Early Childhood Education, oversees accommodations, while Dr. Jose Garry Napoles heads the Food Preparation, Serving, Packing, and Decorations Committee, supported by 55 members.

Security is managed by Mr. Niko Tangigon, and transportation is facilitated by Mr. Rey Boltron, with 10 vans, three coasters, one DepEd van, and an ambulance.

Medical staff, including nurses, will accompany the delegation for combative sports participants.

Additionally, other committee members, including Documentation/ITOs, the Publications Committee, and sports coordinators, are expected to join the delegation on March 8.

The billeting schools for the delegation are Kalumboyan Elementary School and Kalumboyan National High School.

Preparations are underway as the team gears up for the upcoming CViRAA events.

With the support and collaboration of DepEd Bayawan City, the SDO Cebu Province team looks forward to showcasing their unity, talent, and competitive spirit.
