Ang Bayawan Sports Meet 2025 usa ka dakong kalihokan sa sports ug youth development, diin si Vice Mayor Rusmar Ian Tijing misalmot kauban ang DepEd headed by Dr. Anelito A. Bongcawil. Ilang gipakita ang tibuok suporta sa mga atleta, coaches, ug tunghaan, nga nagdasig sa pagkahiusa, disiplina, ug sportsmanship sa kabatan-onan sa Bayawan.

Nagpahigayon ug usa ka meeting uban ang Talarak Foundation alang sa paghisgot sa mga lakang nga makapa-improve pa sa programa sa Bayawan Nature Reserve ug pagpalig-on sa koordinasyon uban sa mga stakeholders.

Mitambong sa panagtigom sila Vice Mayor Rusmar Tijing, Konsehal Lando Abrasaldo, Konsehal Luis Sumalpong, Konsehal Petpet Renacia, mga farmers, ug mga representante gikan sa CENRO, City Veterinary Office, CPDO, City Agriculture, ug City Legal Office.

In light of the advisory from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) and considering the expected severe effects of Super Typhoon “Uwan”, the City of Bayawan announces the suspension of classes at all levels within Bayawan on November 10–11, 2025 (Monday and Tuesday).

This measure aims to ensure the safety of all Bayawanons as the city braces for possible heavy rains, strong winds, and other hazards brought by the typhoon.

Everyone is urged to stay alert, monitor official weather bulletins, and follow advisories from local authorities. Please prioritize safety and avoid unnecessary travel.

| City of Bayawan Calls for Donations for Canlaon City

The City Government of Bayawan is calling for donations to extend assistance to our neighbors in Canlaon City, who were severely affected by the recent onslaught of Typhoon Tino.

They are in need of the following essential items: WATER • DIAPERS • MILK • CANNED GOODS • NOODLES. However, any form of donation or essential items you can extend will be sincerely appreciated and will go a long way in helping those affected.

Donations may be dropped off at the City Mayor’s Office (2nd Floor, New Government Center, Sitio Cabcabon, Brgy. Banga).

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 35, S. 2025, issued by the Provincial Government of Negros Oriental, the City Government of Bayawan hereby adopts the 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙢𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙬, 𝙉𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 5, 2025, 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙜𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙨.
