Fueling the future of sports in Baybay! 🚀 Today, City Hall was buzzing with a productive consultative meeting involving Mayor Boying, the dynamic team from the National Academy of Sports (NAS) led by Executive Director Josephine Joy Reyes, and our own DepEd representatives, spearheaded by SDS Dr. Manuel P. Albaño, CESO V.

We discussed the ins and outs of the NAS System, its crucial role in sports program development, and concrete steps for partnering with our LGU and DepEd for their expansion plans. Get ready, Baybay—our athletes are about to reach new heights!

A coordination meeting was held between representatives of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the Local Government Unit of Baybay City, Leyte, led by City Mayor Hon. Jose Carlos L. Cari. Present during the meeting were Atty. Florante Cayunda Jr., Atty. Avito Cahig Jr., Engr. Gretel Cabrito, and Engr. Marivic Jabines. The discussion centered on clarifying the status of the approval of the survey returns for the Reclamation Project of Baybay City. The meeting also outlined the next steps concerning the application for a Special Patent and formal titling of the reclaimed land, ensuring that all legal and procedural requirements are properly addressed moving forward.
