December 27—Baybay City joyfully celebrates 190 years of devotion to our beloved patroness, Nuestra Señora de la Inmaculada Concepción de Baybay (Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception of Baybay).

For generations, Mama Mary’s unwavering love, graces, and protection have kept our city guided, united, and strengthened through every season, spared from many dangers and adversities.

Today, we celebrate not just a fiesta, but a legacy—190 years of faith that continues to unite Baybay City.

We don’t need firecrackers on Christmas. 🎄🚫

Please think of the dogs and cats. Many of them get genuinely traumatized by the sudden loud blasts. Their hearing is much more sensitive than ours, so what’s “just a pop” to people can feel painfully loud and terrifying to pets. Some shake, hide, stop eating, or even try to run away in panic.

Let’s keep Christmas calm, safe, and truly joyful for everyone, including the animals who can’t understand what’s happening. Choose kindness over noise: skip the firecrackers, keep the streets peaceful, and let the holiday be filled with love, not fear. 🐶🐱🤍✨

Your ‘fun’ shouldn’t be a pet’s panic attack. Skip the firecrackers.

The Christmas Eve Mass will be held at 10:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Parish, to be presided over by the Baybay Team of Pastors.

Let us come together as one community in thanksgiving and prayer as we welcome the birth of Christ.
