🎬✨ FILM-VIEWING REMINDER ✨🎬

Heads up, students! As part of the “Click, Like, Share” film-viewing activity, SMACS will be supervising the tapping of IDs for every screening schedule. This means your attendance will be strictly monitored, so please don’t forget to:

✅ Bring and use your valid school ID.
✅ Tap IN before the screening.
✅ Follow the guidelines to avoid delays.

Your cooperation will help us make sure everything runs smoothly and orderly. Let’s all enjoy the films while keeping things organized! 🍿🙌

The Promotions and Information Office partnered with Optimum Minds Media Productions (OMMP), a team of innovators who have experience in indie movie production, education, sales, and marketing. They work with non-profit, non-government organizations (NGOs), groups and individuals. They associate with like-minded academic institutions and companies that support advocacies in education, environment, women, children’s rights, drug and alcohol abuse, anti-depression, cultural and heritage conservation. These causes are conveyed through plays, workshops, trainings, field trips and producing and co-producing indie films.

For this year, we are showing “Click, Like, Share”, a student-friendly trilogy film that aims to educate the youth on pressing issues such as mental health, cyberbullying, and HIV/AIDS. Within the series are “Bluer than Bleu,” “Your Road,” and “Hi-Five.” The production is endorsed and is in collaboration with UNAIDS, UNICEF, Positive Youth Development Network, the CBCP through its Episcopal Commission on Health Care and the Council for the Welfare of Children.

After the screenings, a forum will take place with experts discussing and interacting with the audience. The modules are reviewed by professional authorities from the Philippine National Police, Department of Education, and the Department of Health. Our own Guidance and Testing Center and University Health Services Office have assessed the modules as well. The SMU Advisory Board approved this activity in a meeting on 14 July 2025.

Dear students, we hope that we shall all absorb and understand the objectives of this activity, and live the lessons we shall learn. The screening shall be from 6 to 8 October at the Fr. Cornelius Tonus Gymnasium. Junior High School shall have their screen on 6 October in the morning, and Senior Hich School in the afternoon. The STEH shall have their screen on 7 October in the morning, with SAB in the afternoon. SHANS (morning) and SEAIT (afternoon) will have their screening on 8 October.

Thank you, and enjoy this learning experience.
