Carrying the theme “United for a Fresh Start”, the College of Teacher Education (CTE) held its annual student orientation for Academic Year 2025–2026.

College Dean William D. Magday Jr. formally opened the event by underscoring the college’s commitment to excellence, not only in academics but also in extracurricular pursuits.

Dean Magday then introduced the six department chairs, who in turn presented their respective faculty members. As part of the celebration of Teachers’ Month, the CTESC honored teachers by presenting them with roses.

The introduction of College-Based Organization officers was led by Christian T. Corpuz, CTE-Student Affairs and Services (SAS) Coordinator. This was followed by the symbolic passing of the key from outgoing CTESC Governor John Paul Andaya (2024–2025) to the newly elected Governor Hans Christian Burlaos, both of whom delivered words of gratitude and encouragement.

Students were also briefed on the college’s academic policies, including guidelines on Conduct and Discipline, Admission and Retention, Civilian Dress Code, and NVSU Netiquette.

The orientation successfully prepared CTEzens with important information while nurturing camaraderie and unity for the year ahead.

SULYAPAN | 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 2025
