One thing weโ€™ve always appreciate about our Gumorning NV community is that after every event, after the setup, the rush, and the organized chaos, there are always people who invite us to slow down and take it all in.

This anniversary dinner was one of those moments. ๐ŸŒž It was initiated by friends of Gumorning NV , and weโ€™re genuinely grateful that it happened. After weeks of planning and creating experiences for others, it gave us the opportunity to sit down, share a meal, and reflect on the past two years.

Looking around the table that evening, we found ourselves appreciating the community that has grown alongside Gumorning NV . The people who continue to show up, support ideas, celebrate milestones, and make space for conversations that extend far beyond the walls of the cafรฉ.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to pause and appreciate that.

Since we opened in 2024, thousands of cups have left our bar carrying coffee grown here in Nueva Vizcaya. ๐ŸŒž For the past two years, the coffee used in our espresso-based drinks has come from ๐—•๐˜‚๐—บ๐—ผ๐—น๐—ผโ€™๐˜€ ๐—œ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—™๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—บ ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—ž๐—ฎ๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ฏ๐˜‚, ๐—ก๐˜‚๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ ๐—ฉ๐—ถ๐˜‡๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐˜†๐—ฎ. Every espresso, every latte, and every cup has been one small way of sharing a piece of the province with the people who visit the space.

Inspired by the traditional sticky rice delicacy that many Novo Vizcayanos grew up with, Inandila Latte 64 is the newest addition to our ๐—š๐˜‚๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ข๐—š ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜€.

Since the beginning, weโ€™ve been interested in finding new ways for Nueva Vizcaya to appear in the space. Sometimes through the conversations we create, sometimes through the experiences we build, and sometimes through the things we serve. This time, it takes the form of a drink.

We are grateful to the Nueva Vizcaya Tourism and People's Museum and Library for trusting Gumorning NV with a space inside the museum and for believing in opportunities that bring more people into conversation with culture, history, and community.

One of the things we hoped for when we brought Gumorning NV into the museum was to create a space where culture and everyday life could naturally meet.

Our 2nd Anniversary at Gumorning Diyay Sentro felt like that idea coming to life. Throughout the day, guests moved between conversations, drinks, local makers, and the exhibitions of the Nueva Vizcaya Peopleโ€™s Museum & Library. Some came to celebrate with us. Others found themselves exploring parts of the museum they may not have otherwise encountered.

Seeing guests move between the cafe at the ground flooor, local makers, and the museum exhibits throughout the day was exactly what we hoped this residency could be. Different experiences existing alongside one another, creating new opportunities for people to engage with culture, history, and community.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us and helped fill the museum with curiosity, conversations, and life.

Year 3 began today. ๐ŸŒž The mountains of Nueva Vizcaya have always represented possibility to us. They remind us that there is still so much to explore, so much to create, and so many stories waiting to be told.

Over the past two years, that idea has taken us to places we never imagined. From exhibitions and festivals to fashion shows, collaborations, cultural conversations, and spaces that brought different communities together. Every project began with the same question:

โ€œWhat could be possible here?โ€

As we begin Year 3, that question remains.

Gumorning will continue to be Nueva Vizcayaโ€™s concept cafe. A space where Novo Vizcayano culture, creativity, community, and everyday life can meet.

We look forward to creating new experiences, opening new conversations, and continuing to evolve alongside the people and ideas that make this province what it is.

Weโ€™re excited for what we can build together next.

For our 2nd Anniversary, Gumorning Diyay Sentro at the Museum welcomed familiar faces, first-time visitors, friends, families, and people who chose to celebrate with us while immersing themselves in the exhibitions of the Nueva Vizcaya Peopleโ€™s Museum & Library. This is testament to how the Gumorning cafe experience, culture, and community can share the same space.

To everyone who visited Gumorning Diyay Sentro and celebrated two years of Gumorning with us, thank you. Thank you for choosing to spend your day with us and for continuing to support the ideas we are building for Nueva Vizcaya.
