The pandemic has been a very complicated time for a lot of people. And I’m sure different people are affected differently. But if you have been feeling cooped up because of the community quarantine, I hope that my blog today about Lady Princess’ pre-debut shoot at Meteor Garden, Bayugan City will give you a breath of fresh air.

It’s hard to imagine how it is for Lady Princess, she’s only turning 18, and just when everyone expects her to start adulting, the world gave her a curveball and made it extra difficult.

I was deeply humbled when I met Princess. I was glad when I heard that my photo had the kind of style she had always envisioned her pre-debut to be. She proved it by seamlessly executing every shot I wanted. Yes, including those climbing-up the tree shots that she only tried that very same day. Thanks to Pepay for introducing me to her. So when the day came for us to shoot, she went there expecting, not only to get tired but also to have fun.
To all debutants, I know that this pandemic is getting you down and you deserve the spotlight. But I hope that you will not lose hope. May you find joy and inspiration as you look through Lady Princess’ photos. Enjoy!

No words can describe the excitement and the anticipation of the birth of your first child. Jim & Laksni Mercader, along with their loved ones, experienced indescribable joy as they celebrated the blessing that God has bestowed upon them.

Today’s feature is one of the cutest sessions, baby Luxelle Jheam’s day out. I’ve always been fascinated by sessions like this. Shooting a baby is never easy. Sessions like these are more challenging because of the irrepressible nature of shooting with babies, and we can’t take the usual time to set-up shots that’s why this shoot was done swiftly in a very short time. It takes persistence, stillness, and waiting for the right moment to make the shot. But what makes me captivated is that precious genuine smile like many beautiful things in life, like the rising of the sun, the blooming of the flowers, or the waves of the sea. And in the end it’s all rewarding to see the results.
During this shoot, I am very humbled to get to know baby LJ. She was ready before I am. And I am so fortunate that she’s in the mood to be flawlessly gorgeous for her photoshoot. And thanks for her family that have pushed their energy to the limit just to entertain baby LJ. They were at my back, yelling her name doing crazy things for that smile to pop! (haha) Phew! That saves me. But anyway, I really enjoy taking these beautiful photos. By some means, it impresses me and have wondered, when can I have one? Hihi

People who are familiar with me and Biswal Studios team know that we are more than just about photographs. That we consciously affect many facets of our clients’ experience to leave not only our works of art but also the works of our hearts. Sometimes this does not necessitate us to be good friends to our clients, but more often than not, an enriching and lasting bond is formed. One of the best examples of this is with these inseparable chums, Saisha Eliana & Asha Veronica.
If you ask me what two words to describe these two cute friends of mine, I would say “Peanut Butter”.
I was deeply humbled when I met these two. They are as sweet as a peanut butter. I first met Asha during her Princess Jasmine of Aladdin shoot last November 2020. Then just a while ago, is Ate Saisha as Belle of Beauty and the Beast. These two were astounding. No sweat and effortlessly making their looks stunning in each photo. Asha is the one who always have the thoughts on how to be a model. She even teases me to make her a shot like this and like that and even tutors her ate on how to look good in the camera. (Haha) But little did she know that Ate Saisha has got more on her sleeves. So, when the day came for us to shoot, they went there expecting, not only to get tired but also to have fun. But what I really love most about them, is their magical bond, friendship, closeness and connection. This pandemic has never made them bored in the house, truth is, it aids them to do crazier things together at home. They’re inseparably fun. Nothing really beats having a sister around.
As you scroll through the photos of Saisha and Asha, may each photo make you realize that a sister is worth a thousand friends and how a sister’s love works. That your true love can come in different ways and forms, and it always starts at home. As for these two “Peanut Butter” and look how happy they are. One of the most beautiful transformations of a female person is when the time comes that she morphs from adolescence to adulthood; it is the beginning of true womanhood, entering a wonderful new chapter of her life… a chapter full of surprises, of careful decisions and discoveries. I am no woman, but I can certainly attest in the experience of turning to an adult and I really feel that this shoot certainly has a story to tell.
This feature shares Kiara Jash’s exquisite post-debut shoot. Doing this shoot made me feel nostalgic being a child again with a family that got my back all the way. Capturing these shots made me remember that there were hands that guided me as I began walking until the day I walked on my own. It showed me the difference of the “then” and the life we are tackling now.
In a little time, I have known Kiara as a humble lady that have a very calm and peaceful personality. She belongs to a wonderful and a happy family. Remember the Nepa family I have featured a while ago, Kiara’s the eldest amongst the siblings.
Kiara surely is sharing and creating a life of love and passion. I see these even after the photoshoot itself with how she enjoys the best of what life has to offer together with her family. Making each moment count.
Please do enjoy the photos. I, personally, have chosen a river for Kiara’s shoot as it steers me of Kiara’s character. The calmness and peace and the uncertain things that she will encounter throughout her adult years. Each picture, I can say, is worth more than a thousand words and it’s a delight for childhood memories to be brought back. Kiara’s celebration is the intricate exhibit of childhood, womanhood, friendship, parenthood (referring to Kiara’s parents), love and life itself. A unique point-of-view that will give us a reflection and a magnificent glance of how each of us has a take at life: of how we were, how we are and how we will be.

Think of the one thing that you’ve always wanted. Now find it in your mind’s eye and feel it in your heart. - Beast

It’s a tale as old as time and I’m guessing, we do all have a favorite Disney cartoon movie especially when we were just kids. Think about its magical stories that we used to share to our friends before, not just once but over and over again. I can still remember back in time, how some of my friends (girls) debate who’s the most beautiful disney princess, even claims that she is the princess and that she lives in the most beautiful castle or in the tallest tower.
Haha Those days are worth reminiscing, some might stop thinking about it, but one thing that will remain to our hearts, is the feeling of that magical moment that once we believed was real. But it is.

Well, if you have been feeling cooped up because of the community quarantine, I hope that my post today featuring Saisha Eliana on her eight magical years at Meteor Garden Bayugan will give you a breath of fresh air.

If you can remember when we feature Asha Veronica as princess jasmine of Aladdin last year, this time, it’s ate Ellie’s turn as Belle of Beauty and the Beast. These two were amazing and fun! Evidently, they both love princesses and even argue for the most handsome prince. Their magical expertise really had me. In fact, every birthday, they have this kind of photoshoot wearing costumes of their favorite princess. And to tell you honestly, they won’t just settle for lesser efforts. hehe

So during the shoot, I can say that ate Ellie beat it. She is really a Belle. She was a go with any concept we had in mind and of course, hers. It feels like she really knew how to be seamlessly stunning in each photo. From happy to fierce look, cute and wacky. Everything seems to be positively buoyant, exhilarated and magical. Voila!

The NEPA’s Family Portrait

Compare to the elaborate photoshoot that we usually do, today, just to take a short break from our wedding and e-session posts, we’re featuring a recent family portrait shoot that we did. 🙂 I’ve always been fascinated by sessions like this. This one can be considered a “mini-family-photo” given the short time we had and the total simplicity of it. But it’s not just capturing the portrait but rather seizing the moment to contemplate the love and bond of a family.

However, the ‘mini’ description stops there, as all else about this shoot and photos are larger than life - the experience, the emotions, the love and happiness, and yes, we’re featuring today the NEPAs.

This family is one of the closest to my heart. They are amazing, good looking, very kind, and absolutely a happy people. During the shoot, it was a little bit challenging because of the uncontrollable nature of shooting with kids. Malachi, the bunso, he was fun and full of energy. He goes here, there, over there and everywhere. But what I’m really fond of, is that when I say “smile”, he poses better than anyone else.

Well, I still have so much more to say but please do enjoy and take inspiration with all these family photos and see how something so ‘mini’ can also be special.❤️

And by the way, these was all done in a quiet place to have a coffee with a sunset view here in Bayugan. The Kapehan sa Singko as they fondly say. Their promotional video will be out sooner. A must visit place.
