To reinforce collaboration of health and education partners, the Benguet Provincial Health Office (PHO) convened key stakeholders for the National Immunization Meeting and Updates on November 26 at the PHSOMP Building, BeGH Compound, La Trinidad, Benguet.
The meeting aimed to foster a more responsive and comprehensive approach to student health, recognizing its vital role in every learner's overall development and academic success. It also served as an opportunity for the health and education personnel to discuss ongoing health concerns, upcoming vaccination drives, and other school-based health initiatives.
The event gathered the Medical Officer and nurses from DepEd, along with representatives from Benguet Rural Health Units (RHUs). Providing participants with an in-depth understanding of program updates and processes, Ms. Rubelyn F. Thomas, SHPO, and Ms. Sha Raine S. Mayomis, Nurse I, of the PHO served as resource speakers.
Dr. Andrew Chamson Bacuso, RHP, warmly welcomed all the participants and extended gratitude for their dedication toward building healthier environments for learners across the province.
Through strengthened collaboration among the stakeholders, the province continues to advance efforts toward a healthier and more equitable health system that supports the holistic development and academic achievement of the learners in Benguet.
