Search for Modern-Day Heroes 2025
Araw ng Biñan 2025: Isang Biñan 1580 aims to give recognition to ordinary folks doing extraordinary deeds - a fitting tribute to fine Filipino values of humanitarianism, industry, determination, perseverance and dedication to public service.
Nominees should be:
🔸Current bonafide resident of Biñan (with at least 2 years residency);
🔹At least 21 years of age;
🔸Of good moral character and must not have been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude; and
🔹Must have a compelling and inspiring story of triumph and valor on his/her advocacy/ies that made significant contributions to his/her field and community.
Requirements:
🔸Curriculum vitae;
🔹Proof of Residency (Voter's Cert, Brgy. Residency Certificate, etc.);
🔸Valid ID with Birthdate (if ID does not have the date of birth, attach PSA or Locally issued Certificate of Birth);
🔹2-page write-up stating the background, good deeds, history and reasons why the nominee should be a recipient of this Recognition (Font size is 12, Calibri, black ink, short-sized bond paper);
🔸(1) 3R half-body photo - printed on photo paper;
🔹Minimum of three (3) and maximum of ten (10) photos supporting the write-up - showing acts of service, humanitarianism, industry, perseverance and determination;
🔸List of awards or recognitions related to the write-up;
🔹Recommendation Letters, if any;
🔸Any documents or proof supporting the nomination, if any; and
🔹Short Brown Envelope labeled: NOMINEE: GABI NG TAGUMPAY: PAGKILALA SA MGA KUWENTONG KAGITINGAN NG MGA BIÑANENSE (FULL NAME and CONTACT NUMBER)
NOTE: Background checking shall be conducted. Videos of activities or testimonials may be asked during the final interview.
DEADLINE OF NOMINATION: January 20, 2025 - 5PM at the City HR Office, 3rd Floor City Hall. Look for Lois Hernandez or Charlotte Rosales.
NO FEES WILL BE COLLECTED.
