Mt. Timbak x Mt. Tabayoc x 4 Lakes
𝐌𝐭. 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐤 (or 𝐌𝐭. 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐚) in Atok, Benguet, is the 3rd-highest mountain in Luzon and the 9th-highest in the Philippines, standing at 2,717 meters (8,914 feet) above sea level. It features vegetable terraces, burial caves with mummies, and a summit marked by three white crosses.
𝐌𝐭. 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐜 is the second-highest peak in Luzon and the sixth-highest in the Philippines, standing at 2,842 meters above sea level. Located in Kabayan, Benguet, it is renowned for its lush, enchanted mossy forests and the "Monkey Trail". It is often paired with the nearby Four Lakes trek.
The 4 Lakes & Junior Pulag Route
• 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐨: Usually the jump-off point and main campsite. It features freezing waters and a backdrop of pine trees.
• 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐠: A short, ascending trek from the main road. It features a mossy forest and a viewpoint deck that offers a great panorama of the surrounding peaks.
• 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐬 (𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐮𝐡): A marshy, mystical lake surrounded by dense, mossy branches.
• 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐍𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐬: A serene, picturesque lake accessible via a mossy jungle trail.
• 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐨 (𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐨): Often the last stop on the loop; a tranquil lake surrounded by vegetable terraces and pine woods.
