Classes at all levels in Binangonan, Rizal on Monday, September 22, are suspended in accordance with the RED ALERT advisory from the NDRRMC and as a precautionary measure for Typhoon Nando, which poses risks of flooding and severe weather.

Typhoon Nando is expected to enhance the southwest monsoon, which will bring strong winds and heavy rainfall to the CALABARZON region starting today until tomorrow.

Residents are advised to stay alert for further announcements, take necessary precautions, and monitor updates from local authorities and PAGASA.

Classes shall be conducted through the available alternative learning modalities on Thursday, September 18, 2025, in accordance with Office Memorandum No. 79, s. 09-2025, due to the conduct of the In-Service Training for all University of Rizal System (URS) personnel.

This training aims to enhance their efficiency, knowledge, experience, and skills, particularly in relation to the fundamental values of a gender-sensitive and responsive learning community, with the goal of helping them fulfill their future duties and responsibilities better.

The training will be facilitated by the Gender and Development Center and the University Human Resource Management Unit at URS Morong Campus, Morong Rizal.

Pursuant to Office Memorandum No. 79, s. 09-2025, on the conduct of the In-Service Training for all URS personnel on September 18, 2025, classes shall be conducted through the available alternative learning modalities.
