In celebration of the First Feast of St. Carlo Acutis, the first millennial saint, we proudly present the official logo of SMTP Media – the Parish Commission on Social Communications.
More than a symbol, this logo reflects our call to serve through truth, creativity, and faith. It signifies our shared mission to communicate God’s message and to live out the ministry entrusted to us.
The acronym SMTP stands for St. Martin of Tours Parish, continuing the legacy of the parish’s Commission on Social Communications, once known as SMTP SocCom. It reflects the ministry’s renewed identity and mission of proclaiming the Gospel in the digital age.
The S, shaped like a flowing wave, symbolizes the dynamic flow of communication—ever-moving, unbroken, and life-giving. The blue color reflects the tender love of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Just as waves reach far and wide, so does Mary’s maternal love, inspiring the ministry to bring Christ to the world and His message of compassion and hope to all.
The M resembles the ornamental cloth draped on the Cross, a reminder of Christ’s victory over death, His Resurrection, and the promise of eternal life. The red color signifies the living presence of Christ and His redeeming sacrifice, which inspires the ministry to proclaim the Gospel with passion and courage.
At the very center of the logo is the T, shaped as the Cross of Christ—the heart of the Gospel and the core message of our proclamation. The yellow color radiates the triumph of Christ’s Resurrection and the hope that it brings to the faithful.
When combined, the M and T form the image of the Mahal na P**n ng Krus sa Wawa, the miraculous wooden crucifix found in the Bocaue River over 175 years ago. Rich in stories of miracles and devotion, this cross remains at the heart of every Bocaueño and the reason for the annual Pagoda Festival.
The P is formed like a crozier, recalling St. Martin of Tours, a Bishop and the patron saint of our parish. The crozier is a Shepherd’s staff, reminding us communicators to be the voice of Jesus, the good shepherd who seeks the lost. Such was the mission of St. Martin, who sought the poor and the lowly of souls and brought them to Christ, an example we seek to follow.
The Wi-Fi signal flowing from the P highlights the ministry’s mission to connect people with the true source of life, Jesus Christ. Just as a strong signal transcends distance, SMTP Media commits to being instrumental in uniting the community within and outside the parish in one faith, ensuring that the Gospel remains accessible and alive in today’s digital world.
This is SMTP Media.
