Post - OB Rotation Thoughts 🩺
Grabe gyud… today was heavy.
Being in the delivery room, hearing the screams, watching every mom push through pain I can’t even imagine — it reminded me how hard it truly is to be a woman.
Nine months of carrying a life, then hours of labor and fear… dili lalim. Dili sayon. And honestly, dili ni pang-shortcut.
But what really struck me were the teenage moms.
So young, yet already going through something so painful and life-changing.
Still kids in many ways, but forced to be strong because life suddenly demanded it. It broke my heart.💔
To the teenagers out there:
Ayaw pagdali. Ayaw paspasa ang mga butang.
Life isn’t a race.
There is so much to enjoy, so much to learn, so much to become — before you take on the responsibility of being a parent.
Enjoy being young.
Enjoy your freedom.
Enjoy discovering yourself and dreaming big.
You deserve that journey.
Because what I witnessed today?
It’s beautiful, yes.
But it’s also painful, exhausting, and not something anyone should face before they’re ready.
Take your time. Love yourself first.
The right things will come at the right time. 🤍
