DA7 gives away P6.1 million worth of agri-machineries to Bohol farmers

Twenty units hand tractor complete with implements and 40 units water pumps with engine sets plus accessories with a total cost of P6,199,699 million were turned over by the Department of Agriculture (DA7) to the farmer-beneficiaries of the Province Bohol last October 8,2020.

Recipient of these farm machineries are the 12 farmer associations from the municipalities of Catigbian, Bilar, Sagbayan, Talibon, Candijay, Sierra Bullones, Sevilla, Danao, and Ubay, Bohol, where the major rice production areas of the province are located.

"These machineries are the tangible gift of Secretary William Dar to the farmers of Bohol, to increase their farm production and income," Atty. Salvador Diputado, DA7 regional executive director said.

He went on saying that the beneficiaries all recognized the vibrant and active support of Secretary Dar to optimize farm yield and minimize losses.

The turnover ceremony was held at the Bohol Agricultural Promotion Center (BAPC) grounds in Tagbilaran City.

Bohol 2nd District Representative Erico Aristotle Aumentado, Dr. Larry Pamugas representing Governor Arthur Yap, Atty. Abel Damalerio representing Bohol 1st District Congressman Edgar Chatto, Antonio Inte representing Bohol 3rd District Congressman Kristine Alexie Tutor, Mayor Elizabeth Mandin of Catigbian, Mayor Manuel Jayectin of Bilar, Mayor Juliet Dano of Sevilla and Mayor Jose Cepedoza of Danao, together with 21 Municipal Agricultural Officers attended the event.

Bilar Mayor Manuel Jayectin also received DA7's financial assistance of 800,000.00 for the Bilar’s Organic Agriculture Program.

Meanwhile, Negros Oriental has also an allocation of 7 units hand tractor worth P130,000 funded under the rice program.

Subling nanawagan ang Department of Education (DepEd) sa mga ginikanan nga dili answeran ang work sheets sa mga estudyante inay giyahon lamang ang ilang mga anak arun makatuon.
Gihingusgan ni Education Undersecretary Tonisito Umali nga importante ang papel sa mga ginikanan sa bag-ong set-up sa pagtuon apan dili matud pa buot pasabot nga sila ang muako sa mga buluhaton sa bata sa eskwela.
Kahibaluan nga adunay sistema ang mga tulunghaan arun masuta kung nasabtan sa mga estudyante ang lesson.
