𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗗𝗼 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲

Earthquakes strike without warning — and sometimes, what we do in panic can put us in more danger. Know the common mistakes to avoid during an earthquake and learn how to respond the right way.

🚫 Don’t Use Elevators
Power can go out or cables may snap during an earthquake. Always use the stairs if you need to evacuate after the shaking ends.

🚫 Don’t Stand Near Windows or Mirrors
Glass can shatter and cause serious injuries. Move away from anything that might break or fall.

🚫 Don’t Take Shelter Near Heavy Objects
Avoid staying beside cabinets, shelves, or hanging items that could topple over.

🚫 Don’t Rush to Gather Belongings

🚫 Don’t Stop on Bridges, Tunnels, or Underpasses (If Driving)

The short answer is: Yes, connected — in a scientific way.

🌏 1️⃣ Naa ta sa “Pacific Ring of Fire”

Ang Pilipinas usa sa mga nasud nga naa sa gitawag nga Pacific Ring of Fire — usa ka hugpong sa mga isla ug kontinente nga gilibotan sa daghang active volcanoes ug fault lines.

Muling niyanig ng Magnitude 4.8 na lindol ang Manay, Davao Oriental kaninang 5:04 a.m. ngayong Linggo, Oct. 12.

Ayon sa PHIVOLCS, aftershocks ito mula sa nauna nang pagyanig sa probinsya.

Sumala sa Kanlaon Volcano Observatory – Canlaon City (KVO-CC), ang taas sa a*o mikabat og 300 metros ug nakita nga paingon sa southeast nga direksyon.

Pabiling Alert Level 2 ang Bulkang Kanlaon, sumala sa PHIVOLCS, nga nagpasabot nga aktibo pa kini ug posible nga moresulta sa minor nga pagbuto o pagbuga sa abo.
