TABLE TENNIS UPDATE | CRUZAT REIGNS AS TABLE TENNIS CHAMPION

Angel Cruzat of the Blue Falcons emerged as the overall champion in the girls' table tennis division, triumphing in a nail-biting final match against Shin Yohan U. Melchor. The intense showdown culminated in a dramatic final set, with Cruzat edging out her opponent 13-11.
Displaying remarkable composure and resilience under pressure, Cruzat showcased her refined skills and competitive spirit throughout the match. Her paddling victory caps off a stellar performance in the tournament and secures her place as one of the standout athletes this EMC Sportsfest 2025. Congratulations!

SEPAK TAKRAW UPDATE | COLLEGE PHOENIX SOARS TO CHAMPIONSHIP

The Sepak Takraw championship was filled with echoes, tension, and thrilling matches, as the College Phoenix and Grade 12 Phoenix showed remarkable moves throughout the game in Eastern Mindoro College (EMC) Intramurals 2025, this August 28.

In the first set, both teams kept catching up in a hard-fought match as the game went on. Grade 12 Phoenix came close to winning, but College Phoenix was able to win despite the challenging game with the scores of 17-16.

Through Perez's impressive tapping in the last point, Grade 12 Phoenix recovered in the second set, 15-7. Both teams narrowly won in the last set again; Grade 12 Phoenix attempted to send the ball over but failed to deliver. College Phoenix claims the victory, 12-11, leaving memorable footwork in the court.

Both teams proved their eagerness to win, demonstrating their outstanding kicks in an exhausting battle.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL UPDATE | RAIN DROP, STALLIONS SPIKES ON TOP 🐎

Volleyball girls championship match against Phoenix (Grade 12) and Stallions (Grade 11), took place today, August 29, 2025, at EMC Quadrangle, Bagumbayan II, Bongabong.

The opening match was secured by the birds, Phoenix 12, but then suddenly the horses ran fiercely, finishing with a win for the second set. With this, the decision game began, and the horses again succeeded, creating a winning streak, 2-1.

After the fourth matchup against the burning birds of grade 12, the Stallions claimed victory, adding large points for the tally board. No gloomy day can stop stallions from reigning their game. Congratulations, Stallions!

VOLLEYBALL BOYS UPDATE | Undefeated Orange Phoenix soars high: records a flawless 7-0

Electric atmosphere and thrilling match under grey skies at the court, Grade-12 Orange Phoenix soared to victory, claiming the championship title in the Volleyball Boys Sports Fest 2025 after dominating Purple Panthers records 3-1, earlier today.

Orange Phoenix secured consecutive sets but Purple Panthers snatched fought hard and snatched the third set, yet Orange Phoenix's powerful spikes and blocks outmatched Purple Panthers securing the match, 3-1.

Unbeatable Grade-12 Orange Phoenix hailed as Champions with a flawless 7-0 record in the Volleyball Boys Sports Fest 2025. Congratulations Phoenix Volleyball Boys!🐦‍🔥

HIGHLIGHT | BEHOLD THE FIERY WINGS

"Naglalagablab, nagsisiklab, kahel ang liliyab!"

Grade 12 Phoenix blazed their way to victory as they outshined different grade levels, securing Grand Champion on EMC Sportsfest Cheerdance Competition 2025.

Dressed in fiery orange colors and hues, with a hint of thrilling scenes, they left the crowd stunned with their powerful shouts, dashing moves, and breathtaking formations, proving why they are worthy of applause.

They included the sport of golf which strikes a home-run on the first scene, peeking the way through the trees where he finds a hunter taunting to capture the phoenix–but because of the spirit of sportsmanship and burning passion, the phoenix managed to escape the cage and showcase its fiery wings.

Followed by that scene is the sport of endurance and fast-paced movement using a pole or stick–the arnis, where players showcased high jumps and powerful kicks while handling the in ploy.

On the ending part where "Palarong Pambansa 2025" Theme song began to sound, EMC's prestigious palarong pambansa basketball players danced through the beat, representing the school's pride of being the home of Palarong Pambansa Athlete Delegates.

Not just that, but with their batch’s legacy as undefeated cheerdance champions and former cheerdance concord on their previous team moniker– Stallions, they once again lived up to expectations, never failing to impress. Congratulations, Orange Phoenix!🐦‍🔥

SOFTBALL UPDATE | BLUE FALCONS BURNED

Grade 12 Orange Phoenix's Softball Team once again proved their dominance in the field as they sweep Grade 10 Blue Falcons in a 12-5 score, today, at Eastern Mindoro College open field.

Scoring 8 in the first inning, Orange Phoenix already set a huge gap against Blue Falcons' runs of 2. Unleashing their hunger to close the distance between Phoenix's, Falcons' attempt only earned them 3 runs in the second inning. Orange Phoenix, however, refused to remain complacent, racking up 4 more runs in the second inning to seal the game, a sky-high triumph for the soaring Phoenix.

SEPAK TAKRAW UPDATE | PHOENIX SEALED THE VICTORY

As the intense game began, Grade 11 Stallions and Grade 12 Phoenix showed impressive kicks and teamwork in sepak takraw this August 27, on the College department court.

Grade 11 Stallions managed to win in the first set, 15-13, with their quick movements and good teamwork during the game. However, Phoenix took the opportunity to obtain the victory with their strong defense in the second set, with the scores of 15-12. On the final set, Stallions was close to winning, but Phoenix showed their best to catch up and sealed the victory with the score of 10-8 against Stallions.

BADMINTON UPDATE | Panthers Nilapa ang Falcons

Ang kumatawan sa Purple Panthers sa Badminton Single A na si Justen Santos ay nag-marka ng makasaysayang puntos laban kay Henrich Ambat ng Blue Falcons sa pagsisimula ng pagdiriwang ng Eastern Mindoro College Sports Fest noong Biyernes, Agosto 22. Ang laban ay nagtagal lamang ng ilang minuto sapagkat madaling nahanap ni Santos ang kaniyang estratehiya upang makadepensa. Nagtapos ang larong ito kalakip ang iskor na 21-0.

ATHLETICS UPDATE | Yagi's Sprint to Glory

Yoshi Yagi of Maroon Stallions once again showed his glory as he sprinted to 1st place in the 400-meter dash finals at the Sports Fest 2025 held at EMC's oval. He ranked 1st with a sprint time of 56.14 seconds. Behind him were Grade 12 Orange Phoenix athletic delegates Vincent Evora, who clocked in at 57.42 seconds, and Kenneth Ocampo, who finished in 1:00.48 seconds.

ATHLETICS UPDATE | Aguilar's Golden Throw

Aguilar of Maroon Stallions showed everyone his impressive throwing skills in the discus throw boys' category at EMC's Sports Fest last August 28. His best throw measured 26.97 meters, awarding him the gold medal. On the other hand, Patilan of Grade 8 Magenta Mavericks had his best throw at 23.97 meters, and for third place, De Chavez of Red Phoenix's best throw was 23.78 meters.

SEPAK TAKRAW UPDATE | GRADE 8 MAGENTA MAVERICKS, NAGKAMIT NG TAGUMPAY SA SEPAK TAKRAW

Matapos ang mahusay na kooperasyon at solidong depensa ng bawat koponan, nanaig ang Grade 8 Magenta Mavericks kontra Grade 7 Jade Titans,15-6, 10-3, sa sepak takraw, Intramurals 2025.

Sa unang set, lumamang ang Grade 7 Jade Titans sa iskor na 15-11. Samantala, bumawi ang Grade 8 Magenta Titans sa pangalwang set, 15-6, dahilan upang maging tabla ang laban. Sa huli, pinatunayan ng Grade 8 Magenta Mavericks ang kanilang husay at talento upang makuha ang tagumpay sa iskor na 10-3.
