Cacao farmers in on the rise…

Forty cacao farmers and processors, representatives from various organizations, and individuals interested in the cacao industry participated in the Cacao 101 Training held from July 7 to 8, 2026, at the Multi-Purpose Hall in Bontoc, Mountain Province.

Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry-Mountain Province (DTI-MP) in partnership with the Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) of Mountain Province, the training aimed to provide participants with a solid foundation in cacao production and processing.
