Lubos po ang ating pagbati sa Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila na kinilala ng Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) bilang Top Performing School sa October 2025 Physicians Licensure Examination. Out of 105 examinees, 104 passed, katumbas ng 99.05% passing rate.

Congratulations to the entire PLM community for this outstanding achievement. You have once again proven that PLM is not only a source of pride for Manila, but also a pillar of hope for the Filipino people. Our doctors, trained in the heart of the capital, continue to raise the bar of public service and professional excellence.

Patuloy po tayong magsisikap upang maisakatuparan ang ating pangarap na PLM Academic Building for Allied Health Sciences. We will continue producing more doctors, and we will continue contributing to nation-building.

Not knowing what’s best for you can lead to a spiraling anxiety. “Should I be running more? Less? Or should I be running based on time and not mileage?”

The obvious dilemma is that everyone’s level of fitness and experience as a runner are different and not all training plans are the same. Some runners work with a coach who crafts a plan specific to the athlete’s running background, needs, and desires. Others download training plans or use running apps with algorithms designed to develop a plan based on their running history. Some runners have been building an aerobic base all year—not just during a 12- to 16-week marathon build-up—while others have been doing it for years.

Though all that might be obvious, it still doesn’t answer: What’s best for you?

At 102, French yoga teacher Charlotte Chopin proves that modest, consistent habits can trump flashy workouts.

Her four-decade-steady routine of simple postures, taught in a humble village studio, highlights joy in movement over optimization.

Beyond yoga, Chopin’s secret lies in strong social bonds, purposeful gatherings, and a grateful mindset—pillars that research links to longevity.

Journalist Danielle Friedman’s visit reveals why showing up matters more than perfection.

Her story challenges how we view aging and fitness.

Discover how small daily rituals can reshape fitness and aging.

💸 Regine Velasquez Rants: “44% of My Income Goes to Taxes, But I Get Nothing in Return!”

Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid expressed her frustration over the high taxes she pays, claiming that 44% of her earnings go to the government without her receiving any tangible benefits. In her post, Regine called out the lack of proper healthcare, quality education, reliable infrastructure, and public safety, emphasizing that Filipinos are not poor — they are simply being made to struggle.

Looking at the split between the two!

The late Kiptum’s 5k split from 35km to 40km is legendary!

Kiplimo was on pace till 35km.

Struggle came in from 30km onwards for Kiplimo comparing both splits.

A minute faster at 30km mark and dropped to 30 sec diff at 35km mark.

Kiplimo did so well right from the start to 35km to me, he fought hard all the way.

He is testing out his limit to see how fast he can hold on to the pace.

It’s only his 2nd Marathon.

He will get it.

I am so looking forward to his future Marathons!

Hope he will do Tokyo or London and eventually Berlin (WR Attempt) next year!

Super excited.

Well done bro!
