We’ve eaten our way around Boracay more times than we’d like to admit.

And while there’s always somewhere new to try, these are some of the restaurants we’d happily make time for again. The kind of places that become part of the trip itself, whether it’s for the food, the view, or the memories attached to them.

πŸ“ Restaurants featured:
Subo Boracay
Nagisa Boracay Cafe & Japanese Food
DiniBeach Bar & Restaurant
Mayas Filipino and Mexican Cuisine
Congas restaurant boracay
Percy Seafood Boracay
Meze Wrap
Nalka Boracay
Jonahs Fruitshake
Island Chicken Inasal Boracay

Not every getaway looks the same, and Bakuran honestly gets that. πŸƒ

A quiet cabin for two, a spontaneous barkada weekend, or a slow family staycation where nobody really wants to leave the pool area. The three cabins all have different personalities, but they somehow give the same feeling of slowing down and doing less for once.

⏭️ Swipe through to find which Bakuran cabin feels most like your vibe.

✨ THE PLACE
Tucked in the quiet side of DoΓ±a Remedios Trinidad, Bakuran DRT feels like a pause you didn’t know you needed.

We arrived on a weekday and had the whole place to ourselves. No rush, no noise. Just trees, distant roosters, and a calm that slowly settles in.

✨ THE CABINS
There are three cabins here: Balai Kuya, Balai Ate, and Balai Bunso. We stayed in Balai Bunso, the largest of the three, together with our family and Arya.

Inside, everything felt simple and comfortable. A queen bed, bunk bed, a small living space, and a clean bathroom. Nothing excessive, just what you need to feel at ease.

✨ SLOW MOMENTS
Our favorite spot was the tree deck. It’s where mornings felt softer. Coffee in hand, conversations unhurried, and time moving a little slower than usual.

✨ MEALS & NIGHTS
Cooking isn’t allowed inside the cabin, but each one has its own nearby kitchen. We brought our own food, warmed up dinner, and shared a quiet meal.

As the evening settled, the staff set up a bonfire for us. There were pool dips, a few beers, and stories that stretched into the night. We even booked their on-call masseuse and slept deeply after.

✨ THE MORNING AFTER
We woke up to cool air and birdsong. A simple family breakfast together, then back to the pool. Because when a place feels this easy, you don’t rush to leave.

Bakuran DRT isn’t loud or trendy. It simply gives you space to slow down, gather your people, and enjoy the quiet.
