Happy Pride 🌈

Pride is a celebration of love, but also a reminder of how far we've come and who made that progress possible. ✨

As a married couple, we never take for granted that we can openly love each other, share our lives online, and legally call each other husbands. Nearly 5 years of marriage has only been possible because of the countless LGBTQIA+ people, allies, activists, and advocates who fought for equality before us. Their courage helped create a world where we can live authentically and love without hiding who we are. 🙏🏼

For us, Pride isn't just celebrated in June. We show our pride every day by being ourselves, supporting one another, and sharing our journey together. Every post, every memory, and every ordinary moment is something generations before us fought to make possible. 💪🏼

While we've gained freedoms that many could only dream of, progress is never guaranteed. Around the world—and in our own home countries—rights are still being challenged, which is why Pride remains as important as ever. 🤍

This month, we celebrate love, visibility, and resilience. We honour those who paved the way, stand with those continuing the fight, and hope for a future where everyone can live and love freely. 🥰

We are by no means artists, but we really wanted to try creating a piece for our new flat 😍 We had a fantastic time unleashing our creativity and stress on a canvas to create our own splatter artwork. How did we do? 🤭

My husband took me to a Filipino restaurant where I could eat with my hands. This is called a Boodle Fight or Kamayan style meal-- a fun and delicious cultural experience!
