Ephesians 6:10-12

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

When we despise God's command to be holy and flee from fornication and all uncleanness, we are grieving the Holy Spirit and insulting our God.

He has called us to holiness, and we must walk in holiness if we are to please Him.

PRAYER 🤍
David once cried out, "cleanse me with hyssop and I will be clean. " (Psalm 51:7) He was willing to undergo unpleasantness to "scrub" away his defilement if necessary.
Let us also be willing to submit to unpleasant cleansing from sin, knowing the joy that comes with having a clean heart.
Amen. ❤
