COOP CABLE TV & INTERNET SERVICE ADVISORY

Cable TV and Internet services from Calog to Tagudtud South, Bugasong, Antique have been disrupted since last night and continue until today due to a fault in the main fiber line.

Tracing was conducted today, but splicing and full restoration are scheduled for tomorrow.

Internet Service Outage – Final Update

Internet services across our entire coverage area have now been fully restored. This follows the earlier outage caused by a fiber cut along Cubay Pangpang, Sibalom, which severely affected our backbone connection.

Our technical teams have completed the restoration work. As part of the final steps, we advise all subscribers to restart their ONU (modem/router) by unplugging it for about 5-10 seconds before turning it back on. This helps refresh the connection and ensure that your service is running smoothly after the restoration.

Internet Service Outage – Restoration Update

We are providing an update regarding the ongoing internet service outage affecting our entire coverage area.

Initial investigation pointed to a fiber cut along Cubay Pang-Pang, Sibalom. Our technical team has now identified the exact location of the damage—the main fiber line was found severed in half, disrupting our backbone connection from San Jose.

Restoration work is actively ongoing. Technical teams from Barbaza, San Jose, Sibalom, Patnongon, and Bugasong have been augmented on-site to accelerate the repair process. Despite inclement weather conditions, our teams are working tirelessly on the ground to restore services as quickly and safely as possible.

We are currently experiencing a total internet service outage across our entire coverage area. Cable TV services remain unaffected.

Initial investigation points to a fiber cut along Pangpang, Sibalom, though the exact location of the damage has not yet been determined. This fiber line is part of our main backbone connection from San Jose, where our internet headend is located.
