In Photos| The Police Regional Office 11 through the office of the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division under the leadership of PCOL ANTONIO D ALBERIO JR., duly represented by PCPT JERGIE C CARUMBA, Chief, PPS/R-PSB Focal Person together with the SALAAM Personnel attended the Oath Taking Ceremony of the Newly Elected Officers of Salaam Police Advocacy Group 11 at Eliza's BBQ, Mamay Road, Buhangin, Davao City.

The said ceremony was graced by the President of Madrasah, Sheikh Abdul Rakhman Caderao together with Mr. Hadji Taha Nor Akmad, Regional President, SPAG 11. Likewise, SPAG Presidents from all provinces including component cities of the Region attended the ceremony.

Further, PCPT CARUMBA extended her warmest congratulations to all newly elected officers and reaffirms the PRO 11's steadfast partnership with the Salaam Advocacy Group in promoting peace, unity, and understanding within the Davao Region.

In addition, the SPAG 11 plays a vital role in strengthening the PNP’s community engagement by promoting cooperation, cultural sensitivity, and mutual trust, especially in areas vulnerable to radicalization. Through this partnership, we continue to build a safer and more harmonious community anchored on respect and inclusive peacebuilding.

Camp Quintin M. Merecido, Davao City — The Police Regional Office 11 (PRO11), led by Regional Director PBGEN JOSEPH R ARGUELLES, continues its strong campaign against illegal drugs. From July 14 to 20, 2025, PRO11 recorded a total of 76 operations that led to the arrest of 85 suspects and the recovery of illegal drugs worth PhP 6,337,538.76.

During the week-long anti-illegal drug operations, PRO11 conducted 53 buy-bust operations, served 3 arrest and search warrants, responded to 7 police reports, and held 5 checkpoint operations. These efforts reflect PRO11’s firm commitment to stopping the spread of illegal drugs across the region.

Police operatives seized a total of 928.0118 grams of shabu, with a street value of PhP 6,310,480.24. Also recovered were 35.991 grams of dried ma*****na leaves worth PhP 2,559.72, eight ma*****na plants valued at PhP 1,600.00, and 17 ecstasy tablets worth PhP 25,500.00.

Of the 85 arrested individuals, 24 were classified as High-Value Individuals (HVIs), while 61 were identified as Street-Level Individuals (SLIs).

With the foregoing, PBGEN ARGUELLES emphasized that these accomplishments are aligned with the guidance of PNP Chief, PGEN NICOLAS D TORRE III, who promotes active police work, strong visibility, and public cooperation as part of his three core leadership pillars.

With this, PRO11 continues to encourage the public to support the anti-drug campaign by reporting suspicious activities in their communities. Further, PRO11 remains committed to making the Davao Region a safer and drug-free place for all.
