When a woman gets tired of you...

It’s not loud. It’s not dramatic.
It’s quiet.
No yelling. No arguing. Just silence.
She stops explaining. Stops caring. Stops trying.

But before she gave up on you,
please understand
she chose to understand you.
She forgave you a million times.
She made excuses, softened her truth,
and held space for the hope that you’d meet her halfway.

She gave chances. She gave warnings.
But now she’s done.
Emotionally checked out. Mentally packed up.

“What is meant for you will be yours and what is not won’t” became my mantra for the past few months. I learned not to force things, relationships, and people; to just go with the flow. Whenever I lose something, no matter how much I want it, I just tap myself in the back and say “it isn’t for me”. And honestly, it’s quite peaceful to live a life like that. When you just let the universe decide what’s for you and what isn’t.

But sometimes when the night is cold and even cicadas are asleep, I look at the sky and think of it—of desires I chose to brush off my chest, of dreams I chose to forget, of all I lost believing it isn’t for me. And whenever I do, I can’t help but wonder, is it really not for me or I just didn’t do enough? I can’t help but think that maybe I should’ve wanted it more, that it could’ve been mine if only I went against the current more than letting the waves take me anywhere they wanted. I can’t help but wonder if it really is true that if something didn’t land in your hands it isn’t for you or people just say it to justify the lack of effort.

All these keep on coming at me that sometimes I don’t know what to believe anymore; if the universe will really give us what we deserve or it’s up to us to convince the universe that we’re deserving of something.

In order to heal, you need to accept the fact that you won't find another home in those strangers that you use for distraction. You won't heal in an instance, you won't heal because of those meaningless flirty conversations.

Don't go out there, blending with the crowd, trying to match with each one, when you know that you're still wounded.

Be true to yourself and face your healing journey alone. It is worth it."

JUST A REMINDER: Your pain has a purpose. 🤍

Stop reminding yourself of the pain but instead remind yourself of its purpose.

The prize is always on the other side of it.

God doesn't guarantee us a life free from pain instead He promises us that whatever we face, He is with us & He will carry us through.

But here's the promise, "I will not cause pain without allowing something new to be born," says the Lord (Isaiah 66:9)

Suffering is a gift from God.

There is no accident.

Your pain and suffering is under God's sovereign control.

It may be painful now but it won't last long.

Everything will get better. God wants to make you stronger; stronger faith, not weak limbs.

Give it time, you are becoming what He wants you to be.

Keep enduring.

Keep fighting.

What looks like 'pain' is actually a step forward to a 'greater joy' that is coming. (Romans 8:18)

BACK HOME!

If I had the power to turn back the clock, Go back to that house at the end of the block—The house that was HOME when I was a kid, I know that I'd love it more now than I did.

If I could be back there at my mother's knee, And hear once again all the things she told me, I'd listen as I never listened before, For she knew so well just what life had in store.

And all the advice my dad used to give, His voice I'll remember as long as I live; But it didn't seem really Important then; What I'd give just to live it all over again.

And what I'd give for the chance I once had, To do so much more for my mother and dad; To give them more joy and a little less pain; A little more sunshine—a little less rain.

But the years roll on and we cannot go back, Whether we were born in a mansion or in a shack; But we can start right now—in the hour that's here, To do something more for the ones we hold dear.

And since time in its flight is traveling so fast; Let's not spend it regretting that which is past; But let's make tomorrow a happier day By doing our "good to others"—TODAY.

She deserves to know that you will always put her first. She deserves to know that you will always be faithful, loving and trusting towards her. She deserves to know that you will always be her protector. She deserves to know that she can always count on you for support. She deserves to smile multiple times a day. She deserves to be treated so well, it will make other women jealous of her. She deserves to be loved for who she is, and not for who you want her to be. She deserves to laugh like she doesn't have a worry in the world. She deserves to have a man she can hold hands and walk together with spiritually. She deserves to be spoken to with respect. She deserves whatever makes her feel like she is truly the only woman in the world. 🌹
