As Typhoon Uwan approaches, fear fills the air. The news warns us. People rush to prepare, storing food, boarding windows, praying for safety. And that’s wise. But sometimes, in all our preparations, fear quietly grows louder than our faith.

We start to believe more in what the storm can do than in what God can still do.

Our fear often overpowers our faith because we focus on what’s visible, the wind, the danger, the uncertainty. But Heaven sees something greater: a sovereign God who never loses control.

Yes, it’s right to prepare. But it’s even more important to pray. It’s wise to secure your home, but don’t forget to secure your heart in Him.

Let this storm remind us that safety isn’t found in strong walls or dry ground, it’s found in the strong hands of God.

Psalm 46:1–3 KJV
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.

It reminds us that no natural disaster or chaos can shake the security we have in God’s presence.
