𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡 | The Office of the College President of Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) has announced that all classes on Friday, December 6, 2024, will be conducted asynchronously. The directive aims to give students ample time to review and prepare for the final examinations, which are scheduled to take place from December 9 to 13, 2024.

𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 | 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗧 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝟴 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗦 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀

The ASSCAT Athletics Team proudly secured a spot in the Magic 8 rankings at the 2024 MASTS Friendship Games, showcasing their talent and determination despite not clinching a medal.

Athletes in the Classical Relay and Long Jump events both earned 5th place, competing against 32 and 72 contingents, respectively, from across Mindanao. Meanwhile, female athletes Daiann Mae Josol and Joelyn Liloc highlighted the strength of women in sports, with Josol placing 6th in Shot Put and Liloc achieving 6th in Discus Throw.

Neliabhe Pastor Desabille of ASSCAT made impressive achievements by winning the bronze medal in the women’s triple jump at the 2024 MASTS Friendship Games. According to Desabille, not only was this her first time competing in the MASTS Games, but it was also her debut in the women’s triple jump, having previously focused solely on running.

Reflecting on her triumphant performance, Desabille shared, “If you put in effort and hard work sa inyong competition, naa gyud posibilidad nga makab-ot nimo ang mga achievements. Lastly, don’t forget to enjoy.”

𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 | 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗧 𝗔𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝟮 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟲 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗦 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀

The ASSCAT Arnis Team, under the guidance of coaches Mr. Edlor Tortuga and Ms. Melchora Marzo, delivered an impressive performance at the 2024 Mindanao Association of State Tertiary Schools (MASTS) Friendship Games held on November 27-28. The team proudly brought home 2 silver and 6 bronze medals in the Arnis competition.

Silver medals were clinched by Angielique Adorable in the Padded Stick category and Marecho Catalan in the Live Stick category, showcasing their exceptional skills and determination.

Meanwhile, bronze medals were secured by Karylle Mancia, Bell Christian Jacob, Jose Rogel Santillan, Christian Morte, and Janno Villarin across the Padded and Live Stick categories.

Additionally, Jhon Cris Plaza achieved a commendable 5th place in the Traditional Individual Weapon category, and Harvey Karl Mausisa ranked 7th in the Non-Traditional Double Weapon category, further highlighting ASSCAT's talent in Arnis. | via John Lloyd Tamonlang

Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT) Quiz Bowl team unveils their wit against top-tier delegates, securing the 3rd runner-up position in MASTS 2024.

Coached by Sir Mark John Martinez, Gwyneth Grace Tomas, Kevin Paul Deaño, Aldrin Gardose, and Nica Guen Phala showcased their intellect and teamwork, emerging as one of the most formidable competitors in the contest.

“We aimed for a podium finish and we did it. As a first time coach in quiz bowl, I am beyond proud to the efforts exerted by Gwy, Nica, Aldrin, and Kevin and special thanks to Sir Rodelo Lungay. This is the comeback of ASSCAT in the quiz bowl competition! “ Sir Martinez proudly stated.
