These are some of the words I’ve heard about myself that, honestly, I still haven’t completely moved on from. 😂 Maybe because even if you act like you don’t care, sometimes those words still stick.

And yes, maybe I’m ambitious. But I don’t think that’s something to be ashamed of. Mas maayo nang ambisyosa kaysa walay pangandoy. I want to build something, grow, and try even if I might fail.

Maybe some people saw that as arrogance. Maybe because I’m palaban. I don’t like being stepped on. When I know I’m right, I speak up. And not everyone will like that. But I’ve learned that being confident doesn’t mean you think you’re better, and being ambitious doesn’t mean you step on others.

People will always form their own version of you, and you don’t have to spend your life proving them wrong. Let them think what they want. You just keep growing, keep learning, keep building, and don’t let anyone’s opinion make you smaller. Because sometimes, the very thing they criticize you for is the same thing that will help you build the life you’ve been praying for. ❤️
