Typhoon Tino Slightly Intensifies; Landfall Expected Tonight
Typhoon Tino (Kalmaegi) has slightly intensified as it moves closer to the Eastern VisayasโCaraga region, according to PAGASAโs 5:00 PM bulletin.
As of 4:00 PM, the center of the typhoon was located 170 km East-Southeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar, with maximum sustained winds of 130 km/h and gusts of up to 160 km/h, moving west at 20 km/h.

Typhoon Tino is expected to make landfall or pass near Homonhon Island or Dinagat Islands tonight, before crossing Leyte and Southern Leyte by early Tuesday.
