The Philippine Electronics and Communication Institute of Technology (PECIT) welcomed officials from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) on September 13, 2025, at the PECIT Covered Court for the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) Disbursement of Grants.
The TES is a government grant-in-aid program under the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (RA 10931), which provides financial support to qualified students in both public and private higher education institutions. This initiative ensures that deserving students can continue their studies without being hindered by financial difficulties.
During the visit, CHED officials highlighted the importance of the subsidy in advancing educational opportunities and making quality tertiary education accessible to all. They also expressed their commitment to strengthening programs that uplift students and empower them to succeed academically.
PECIT student grantees warmly welcomed the support, expressing their gratitude for the assistance that allows them to focus on their studies and future goals. The event not only symbolized the distribution of financial aid but also embodied hope, inclusivity, and the governmentโs dedication to nurturing the next generation of professionals.
