State of the City Address 2026✨

PRESSING ISSUE:

Kabasa qg ubay-ubay nga posts regarding Butuan Medical Center. Since ang atong LGU is already ISO 9001-Certified, and we know that the main goal of Quality Management System is CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, gi-launch sa LGU ang “Butuan Listens”, usa ka customer feedback mechanism alang sa mga constituents.

Just yesterday, the City Mayor directed the BMC to conduct Capacity Development Programs on Customer Service. Likewise, the BMC, CHD, and CHRMD were instructed to expedite the recruitment and hiring of essential medical manpower aron mapalambo pa ang serbisyo sa ospital.

And GOOD NEWS, Guys!🎉

Ang House Bill No. 8470 nagtinguha nga ma-upgrade ang Butuan Medical Center ngadto sa usa ka fully equipped Level III Tertiary Hospital nga pagatawgon na og Butuan General Hospital. This expansion will secure national funding to modernize hospital facilities, purchase advanced medical equipment, and hire specialized doctors. Gi-aprubahan na kini sa House of Representatives ug gidungog na sa Senate Committee on Healthsa pagpanguna ni Congressman Jose "Joboy" Aquino II.

Plus, naa nay new Emergency Room, Mental Health Facility, and additional 8 Main Health Centers by 2027, further strengthening the city’s healthcare services.

Hinaot nga these initiatives will pave the way for a better healthcare system, one that every Butuanon can truly rely on🙏
