A true friend is more than just someone you laugh with
—they are someone who helps you grow closer to Jesus.
They remind you of God’s promises when you forget.
They pray for you when you can’t find the words.
They hold your arms up when you’re tired.
God gives us these friendships as a gift—because He knows we can’t run this race alone.
Friends walk with you through the highs and lows, encouraging you to keep your eyes on the Lord.
Be that kind of friend. Point each other to Christ. And when life gets hard, remind each other,
“We’ve got this—not because we’re strong, but because God is with us.”
In Exodus 17:8–13, the Israelites were in a fierce battle. Moses stood on a hill with the staff of God raised high. As long as his hands were lifted, Israel was winning—but when he grew tired and his hands lowered, the enemy gained ground.
Seeing his weariness, Aaron and Hur stepped in. They gave Moses a stone to sit on, then stood on each side, holding up his hands until the battle was won. Without their support, Moses could not have endured.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the friends who have stood beside me, prayed for me, and encouraged me when I was weary. Help me to be that kind of friend to others. Amen.
Have a BlessedWalk. my friend
