It’s easy to love someone at their best. When they are kind, patient, thoughtful, and understanding—love feels natural. But what about when they are distant? When they disappoint you? When their flaws become more visible than their strengths?

Loving someone fully, even when they’re hard to love, is where love becomes real.

Jesus didn’t wait for us to become perfect before loving us. He didn’t say, “Fix yourself first, then I’ll give My life for you.” No—He loved us at our worst. He saw every flaw, every sin, every failure, and still chose the cross. That is true love.

When you love someone in their difficult seasons, you mirror the heart of Christ. Love becomes powerful not when it’s convenient—but when it stays.
