Good news for Butuanons!

The Sangguniang Panlungsod of Butuan has approved SP Ordinance No. 17-042-2026, authored by Hon. Gian Carlo M. Sanchez, suspending fees for delayed birth registration and other legal instruments.

This move aims to ease the burden on families, especially the indigent, by making vital civil documents more accessible.

Now, Butuan residents can process delayed registrations without extra costs, ensuring more families can secure their rightful place in the city’s records.
