Set in a fear-ruled dystopian republic in the 1970s, Bandage Poetry follows Ele, a university paperboy tasked with distributing state propaganda on the eve of a nationwide “cleansing.” Haunted by a childhood memory of public executions, Ele moves numbly through a campus saturated with obedience, violence, and ritualized cruelty. As he witnesses everyday acts of brutality, from public shaming to sanctioned beatings—his silence begins to fracture. Through small, mischievous gestures of vandalism and poetry, Ele transforms his routine into an act of playful resistance, discovering the dangerous power of words in a society that fears them most.

We’re opening our doors to passionate individuals who want to create meaningful cinema.

𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙋𝙤𝙚𝙩𝙧𝙮 is an independent film about resistance through art, healing from trauma, and reclaiming identity under oppressive systems. It challenges fanaticism, censorship, and the silencing of artists, while tracing the personal rebirth of those who choose to speak through creativity.

This project operates 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱.

No upfront compensation is guaranteed, but all contributors will be compensated if the film secures funding or awards, clearly and transparently.

We welcome film enthusiasts, creatives, production crew, and extras of any experience level.
