The next big thing in tennis is a 19-year-old who was virtually unknown just a month ago.

Meet Alexandra Eala.

She's already the highest-ranked Filipino tennis player ever, but was seen as more of a junior player whose future may be in doubles.

Before the Miami Open, Eala was the 140th-ranked player in the world, and the biggest wins of her career all came in junior events.

πŸ† 2020 Australian Open Doubles Champ
πŸ† 2021 French Open Doubles Champ
πŸ† 2022 US Open Juniors Singles Champ

Eala turned a wildcard entry into a miracle run to the Miami Open semifinals, beating 3 former Grand Slam champions in the process - and bumped her ranking from 140 to 75:

🎾 Beat No. 25 Jelena Ostapenko in the Second Round
🎾 Beat No. 5 Madison Keys in Third Round
🎾 Beat No. 2 Iga Swiatek in the Quarterfinals

She’s proven she can beat the best in the world.
She's only 19 years old.
And the future of women's tennis just got a lot more interesting.
