Residents living near beaches and coastal areas in Cagayan, Isabela, Babuyan group of Islands and several others in the Philippines and nearby Asian countries are advised to move further inland following the Tsunami warnings by Phivolcs. 🙏🙏

Phivolcs has issued Tsunami Alerts over coastal towns of Cagayan, Isabela, Babuyan Group of Islands and several other areas following the strong Magnitude 8.7 quake off eastern Russia on Wednesday morning, July 30.

Here is a list of areas with issued Tsunami warnings where waves of less than 1 meter are expected by 1PM to 3PM this afternoon, July 30, according to Phivolcs:

Meanwhile, international media outlets have reported Tsunami waves reaching Russia's Juril Islands and Japan's large northern island of Hokkaido early on Wednesday.

Alaska, Hawaii, Chile, Japan, Solomon Islands, and other coasts near the Pacific have also received Tsunami warnings following the powerful quake which struck Off The East Coast Of Kamchatka, Russia early Wednesday morning. TNF
