Bilang ng bagong overhaul na bagon ng MRT-3, tumaas na sa 69!

Tumaas na sa 69 ang bilang ng mga bagong overhaul na bagon ng MRT-3, matapos madagdagan ito ng isa pa noong ika-25 ng Nobyembre, 2022.

Sa kabuuan, tatlo (3) na lamang sa 72 na mga bagon ng MRT-3 ang nakatakdang sumailalim sa general overhauling, bilang bahagi ng maintenance program ng mga ito.

Sa ilalim ng general overhauling, kinukumpuni at pinapalitan ng bago ang mga lumang piyesa ng mga bagon upang maibalik sa maayos nitong kondisyon.

Dumaraan din sa serye ng speed at quality checks ang mga bagong overhaul na bagon upang matiyak na ligtas ibiyahe sa mainline.

Nasa 16 hanggang 20 tren ang karaniwang tumatakbo sa linya araw-araw. Ang isang tren ay may tatlong bagon.

It’s almost 2023 and yet we are still stuck in traffic. Pun intended.

With the current price of gas and fare, improving the traffic in Metro Manila could be a great help to ease Filipino’s day-to-day transportation, and eventually help change the shape of our current economy.

Providing alternative routes and more accessible roads for vehicles coming from south and north Luzon can create a big impact on the current traffic situation, especially since the major ports and airports are located in Metro Manila. If we can improve the way we transport goods, the market can then lower down the prices.

At this point, any kind of infrastructure improvement will greatly benefit the masses.

The real question is, will we be able to see it in 2023?

However, large vehicles are not permitted on the Skyway, where the Connector was planned to conclude. The Connector at least permits large vehicles.

Upang mas mabigyan ng mas maayos na terminal ang ating mga pampublikong mananakay sa buong Metro Manila, pinasinayaan ng Department of Transportation ang One Ayala Terminal sa
Lungsod ng Makati.

Ayon kay Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista na aabot sa 300,000 pasahero ang makikinabang sa naturang bagong terminal dahil nandito sa lungsod ang sentro ng komersyo ng Metro Manila.

Kaugnay nito ay magkakaroon na ng kaluwagan sa EDSA Ayala MRT station dahil maalis na ang mga bus sa ilalim nito. Hindi lamang bus ang maaring magsakay at magbaba dito kundi kabilang din ang mga jeep at UV Express patungo sa iba't-ibang ruta.

Samantala, nagpasalamat naman ang DOTr sa pamunuan ng Ayala Corporation sa maayos na pakikipag-ugnayan nito sa pamahalaan at sa pagbibigay inisyatibo nito sa publiko. I Ulat ni AJ Ignacio
