The first and last year of Ardent’s Ignis has been a fruitful and definitely memorable ride for each journalist. As a team lead by the Editorial Board and School Paper Adviser, Ardent’s Ignis prevailed through countless obstacles and celebrations. Each moment, seen or unseen, contributed to the overall journey of the publication.

The whole CITech Press Corporation: Ardent’s Ignis team gives it utmost gratitude to all the students, teachers, administrators, and staff who supported our dream of being a journalist. The experiences we had may not be easy, but were set as a stepping stone for our success. We would not make it without you all.

CITechians, it is with great honor that we had the chance to represent and stand up with you to bring light to necessary issues we had experienced the past year. As a new academic year awaits, we sincerely hope for your continuous support for each journalist who dreams on becoming a spokesperson and advocate for truth.

As a result of the partnership between the University of Cabuyao (Pamantasan Ng Cabuyao), the Cabuyao Youth Development Affairs Office, and the Cabuyao Sports Committee, strengthened Cabuyeño sportsmanship will surely be acclaimed. The university undoubtedly encourages its students to excel not just in their academic studies but also in their sporting endeavors.

ENDING THE ABOUNDING JOURNEY WITH A JOYOUS HEART

Grade 12 Graduates from Cabuyao Institute of Technology (CITech) finish their academic year in celebration with the 2nd Commencement Exercises on June 30, 2023 at Cabuyao Basic Athlete School (CABS).

A day before the official Graduation, a Baccalaureate Mass and a Recognition Rites was held (June 29, 2023).

The Recognition Rites awarded students that displayed exemplary performance throughout the academic year: With Honors, With High Honors, With Highest Honors, Best in Research, Best in Work Immersion, Service Awardee, and Leadership Awardee.

Meanwhile, City Mayor and Chairman of the Board of Regents, Hon. Dennis Felipe Hain, University President, Dr. Charlemagne Laviña, and School Principal, Dr. George Lambot, graced the celebration and presented utmost support to the graduates.

Ms. Rheanna Angel Aballe, the Class Valedictorian for this year’s batch, presented her Valedictory Speech with heartfelt gratitude, causing her and her fellow graduates to shed a few happy tears.

From Ardent’s Ignis, we sincerely congratulate the Batch of A.Y. 2022-2023! You all proved that with dedication and perseverance, one can surely survive even in the toughest battles. We wish you the best of luck as you embark on your new journey! ❤️‍🔥

Congratulations on an Amazing Achievement: Securing a Spot in the Top 23 of the Feature and Sports Section at RSPC (Regional School Press Conference) School Paper Publication!

A big round of applause to our talented Feature Writers - Ma. Luisa Larit, Angela Allanic, and Shad Bayona! Their dedication and storytelling skills truly brought our stories to life, capturing the hearts of our readers.

We also want to give a standing ovation to our fantastic Sports Writers - Charles Andrew Taripe, Karl Adrian Baroro, Stephany Buenaagua! Their passion and insightful coverage kept everyone engaged and excited throughout the event.

Let's not forget our brilliant Layout Artists, Shannja Ashley Malelang, Loraine Anne Pujeda, James Benedict Bustamante, and Mark Francis Entredicho who transformed our publication into a visual masterpiece with their creative designs and attention to detail.

Shannja Ashley Malelang, the Head Layout Artist of Ardent’s Ignis, earns a spot at the TOP 10 REGIONAL SCHOOLS PRESS CONFERENCE (RSPC) held last May 29, 2023-June 2, 2023.

Shannja, together with his Online Publication team, achieved a place on the Top 10 Winners of RSPC. The final team who will represent Region IV-A CALABARZON is yet to be decided.

You made us proud, Shannja! Congratulations!
