For 3 years as a soccom, every Holy Week, I’ve always wanted to take this photo. With proper timing and coordination, finally, seeing Mater Dolorosa (Mother Mary) and Santo Entierro (Jesus) meet in this long procession.
Truly nothing hurts more than seeing your son die. And you can’t do anything to ease this pain.
But Mary trusted the Lord. She was strong because she knew there’s something bigger than all of this. She knew God has a plan.
We are being reminded that we too should trust in the Lord. Worry not, feat not because God is bigger than any of our problems. He has His ways that we may not fathom but in the end, goodness will prevail and our problems shall pass.
