Today, June 16, 2024, Muslims start to celebrate the Eid Al-Adha l-Adha also known as the "Feast of the Sacrifice" to honor the willingness of Abraham to sacrifice his son Ishmael as an act of obedience to God's command in Islamic tradition. During this festival, Muslim families slaughter an acceptable sacrificial animal like sheep, goats, or cows and divide it equally to give to the poor, their family members, and friends. Eid Al-Adha is not just about sacrifice and giving, but also spending time with your friends and family and exchanging gifts. HAPPY EID MUBARAK EVERYONE!

"𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝘂𝗽?" Questions like that are often asked to children to ensure that they set their minds to a job that is "dignified" or a job that gives them a ticket to a well-off life. The answers that most people want to hear are doctors, engineers, nurses, etc. But as far as labor is concerned, there is so much more than that. May 1 is hailed as the day that we celebrate our obscure laborers whose efforts are what keeps our society alive and running.

The first Labor Day in the Philippines was observed back in the May 1, 1903 when thousands of workers marched through Malacañang, demanding fairer work conditions from a then American led government. On the 8th of April 1908, the Philippine Congress passed a bill recognizing the 1st of May as a national holiday in the Philippines.

This day is intended to honor the workers all across the country for their achievements, contributions, and most importantly, their unbound efforts. Let us recognize the workers, no mattter their backgrounds, gender, age, and wage for their crucial role in our economic progress and development.

With only a few months remaining, let's aim high, remain committed to our goals, and make the most of every second. Let's work together to make this our most successful and memorable year yet!

Christ is risen!
Let us celebrate as we remind ourselves with how the Lord Jesus Christ blessed us with salvation by dying for our sins. On this solemn Sunday, Jesus Christ has risen from the dead. His sacrifices towards humanity will forever be laminated in us by celebrating this holiday.

Resurrection is thus a symbolic reminder for all of Us that Jesus has overcome death and sin. It marks the victory of good over evil.

A momentous celebration that puts emphasis on the heart of every believer as we comemorate the day that altered the course of our fate.
